FAQs

What kind of watershed project qualifies for a discount?

Any organized river or watershed cleanup, invasive species removal, bank restoration, or similar environmental stewardship activity on your home waterway qualifies.

How are total volunteer service hours calculated?

Total hours are the sum of all participant hours across your club's projects. For example, 10 volunteers × 5 hours each = 50 total hours.

Are there discounts if we complete less than 50 hours?

Yes. Individual entry discounts are available for teams that complete fewer than 50 total hours. See the submission form for the prorated schedule.

How do we submit our project?

Use the Submit Your Project link at the top of this page. You'll need to provide the project date, location, participating club, and total verified volunteer hours.

Who needs to approve the volunteer service hours?

A local watershed alliance or environmental organization representative should verify your hours. Contact us if you need help finding a partner organization in your area.

When does our project need to be completed?

Projects must be completed and submitted by October 15, 2026 to qualify for a registration discount.

How will the discount be applied?

Once your submission is approved, a discount code will be emailed to the club contact on file. Apply it during registration on RegattaCentral.
