Awards

Medals

Medals will be awarded to first, second, and third-place finishers in each event.

• If there are only three entries in a race, only Gold and Silver will be awarded.
• If there are only two entries in a race, only Gold will be awarded.
• Medals will be awarded to all divisions of Masters & Youth events.

Team Points Awards

Team champions will be recognized in Youth, Women's Collegiate, Men's Collegiate, and Masters categories. A team points trophy will be awarded to the team in each category that achieves the greatest total points using the following scoring system:

Scoring is weighted for boat size and number of entries per event. The point grid is implemented right-to-left. For example, a fours event with only 5 entries awards 20 points for first place, 16 for second, etc. Each point level is awarded to only one boat per event, regardless of organization type. Points carry back to each boat's respective team points trophy.

Organizations

Organizations are designated as Youth, Collegiate, or Masters for team points. Team points are grouped by the exact organization name. They will not be combined with related organizations that register under a different name.

Masters Team Points

Awarded to a Masters program for all events not designated "Youth" or "Collegiate”, including Masters, Championship, Open, and Para events. Points are awarded independently to all divisions within Masters events.

Women's & Men's Youth Team Points

Awarded only for youth-designated events (Youth and Youth Novice). Points are awarded independently for both U19 and U17 divisions. No points will be awarded for Mixed Youth 8+.

Women's & Men's Collegiate Team Points

Awarded to a collegiate program for all events not designated "Youth" or "Master" — including Collegiate, Championship, Open, and Para events. Mixed events are excluded.

Exclusion From Team Points

Alumni and Parent/Child boats will not earn team points for any team. Composite boats are awarded points per the scoring system but are not included in any club's team points totals. If an organization wishes to exclude one or more of their entries from team points consideration, they should contact the regatta registrar.

Sponsor Trophies

Trophies will be awarded to the winner of select events in the name of our sponsors.
